Sensory Explorations

We rely on our senses to give us knowledge of the world around us and knowledge of ourselves. But how many senses do we have and how do they shape the conscious experiences we have of our surroundings and own bodies? How reliable or unreliable are they? And do we always know which senses we are using when perceiving the sights, sounds, tastes, smells and feels of things around us? In this session we’ll explore more about our multisensory expriences and ourselves.

Aistimuksellisia tutkimuksia

Nojaamme aisteihimme saadaksemme tietoa ympäröivästä maailmasta ja itsestämme. Mutta montako aistia meillä on ja kuinka ne muokkaavat tiedostettuja kokemuksiamme ympäristöstä ja omista kehoistamme? Kuinka luotettavia tai epäluotettavia ne ovat? Ja tiedämmekö me aina mitä aistia käytämme havainnoidessamme ympäröiviä näkyjä, ääniä, makuja, hajuja sekä tuntoja? Tässä sessiossa tutkimme moniaistillisia kokemuksiamme ja itseämme.
