SLAGr
Exploring and experimenting with her cello, Katrine Schiøtt has made her own unique sound. She appears in many different music and constellations, projects and collaborations. Katrine is classically educated at The Norwegian Academy of Music. Although she´s a classical cellist, she also work creatively in other directions such as free improvisation, contemporary music, classical, jazz, chamber pop, indie, electro pop and other art forms. Anne Hytta is a performer of the hardanger fiddle. She composes and performs her own music in her solo production Draumsyn and her trio Slagr. Amund Sjølie Sveen (b. 1973); artist and percussionist. Born in Vadsø, in the far north of Norway. Is working with a wide range of expressions and medias which common ground mainly is the use of sound, and the investigation of current political issues in the globalized world of market economy.

Anne Hytta (hardanger fiddle), Katrine Schiøtt (cello) & Amund Sjølie Sveen (vibraphone and tunes glasses). Slagr plays ´acoustic ambient´ – somewhere between folk and chambre music – and invites the audience to experience this slow and almost imperceptibly evolving musical landscape while laying down on the floor. Blankets and pillows are handed out.
