Siri, a restless artist, started his career as a professional musician in 1996, playing with great names of Brazilian music like Sivuca and Hermeto Pascoal, among others. He launched his solo career in 2000 and was awarded the Brazilian Music Prize in 2010 for his third album Ultrasom. Since then, his performances go beyond the stage and his instruments turned into sound poetry: his career expanded to the sound arts, with invitations to exhibit and perform in Brazil and also abroad in venues like Victoria and Albert Museum (London), NBK Gallery (Berlin) and Portikus (Frankfurt). His works gain structure and take shape as videos, photographs, sculptures and specially as a materialization of his music, erupting a musical evolution from abstract to concrete.
